The annoying thing is that it's not really reproducable and very sporadic encountering the crash.Windows 10 has now become the world’s most popular operating system with 400 million users. I have yet to try removing and changing the RAM sticks. My crash is very similar to what your video is showing. I have deinstalled any lighting software, but it's still crashing. Any you take a look at this video and see if it's similar to the crash you are having?

It's definitely not Windows as I've changed my SSD and reinstalled the OS.Īnother thought I might have is maybe it's an issue with one of the tens of installed software to control LEDs that might have a memory leak. I'm beginning to wonder if it's CPU or motherboard related. I'm running without XMP and haven't had a crash but based on the fact that you have, I doubt it'll fix the issue with mine. I've never had this issue with any computer I've ever had. You know I find it very weird that we both have fairly different builds, but are experiencing an identical "crash". I'll try removing one Stick and then swapping, to see if a bad RAM stick is the problem. Followed guide at below link by SirMoloth Turned off hardware acceleration in Google Chrome. Complete memory diagnostics using MemTest86, no errors found. Run sfc /scannow, found integrity violations before and after reinstall, did not fix freezing issue. Swapped M.2 SSDs in between installs to rule out issues with SSD. Used 'WhoCrashed' program to analyze crash dumps, apparently not crash dumps are available. Checked Event Viewer leading up to the crash only some DCOM warnings and RPC Events. Complete clean re-install of Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit. Seems to only have been an issue in the past few months with recent Windows updates. I had a call on Teams with a coworker and my computer crashed, I could hear him still speaking, but he could not hear me.ĮventViewer shows nothing but DCOM warnings up until the "crash". The only way to clear this is to hard reset it by holding the power button. The start menu can be opened, but clicking on restart does nothing and changes the cursor to a loading cursor. Attempting to close windows or restart the computer does nothing. Sometimes it will happen twice in a day, sometimes once a week. The computer begins to lock up (if I'm watching YouTube the video will begin skipping), I can still interact with the computer (move mouse, move windows around, type in fields), but anything in the taskbar will be frozen.
